Refund Terms

Qualifying products and services ordered from FastCat may be refunded when cancelled within 7 days of your new service order. To request a refund, follow these steps:

Navigate to your service

In the billing panel, find the service you want to cancel.

Cancel immediately

Select Cancel, then choose “Cancel Immediate” as the Cancellation Type.
This will immediately terminate your service and all associated data will be lost.

Submit a support ticket

Open a support ticket requesting a refund. We’ll take care of the rest. Approved refunds are typically processed within a few business days; the time to reach you depends on your payment method.
Please understand that FastCat’s refund policy is built on good-faith. If we have a reasonable belief that a customer is abusing our money-back guarantee, we may at our discretion cut that account from receiving further refunds or deny refunds. In these rare situations, we will notify such customers of our refusal under this policy.

Qualifying Services

All orders for virtual servers, web hosting, and WordPress hosting qualify for refunds under this policy. If you have another product, please ask over support and we can let you know if it is eligible. We cannot issue refunds for dedicated servers, as they are often customized and require time to setup. In some cases, we can make exceptions depending on the dedicated server configuration. Please open a support ticket before your purchase if you may be unsure about your dedicated server purchase and would like to have a refund period.

Refunds After 7 Days

After 7 days, we are unable to refund you back to your original payment method. However, in some circumstances we may provide prorated refunds based on days remaining in the billing period back to your service credit balance. Please submit a support ticket after 7 days (not a cancellation).

TOS Violations

If we suspect that you have violated our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policies, we may not provide a refund. Additionally, we do not offer refunds for services suspected of being used for cryptocurrency mining, malicious use, or other terms violations.

Chargebacks

A payment chargeback, reversal, payment dispute, risk of payment fraud or other rejection of a charge of any payable fees on your account (“Chargeback”) is a breach of payment obligations. In such situations, you agree that FastCat may pursue all available lawful remedies in order to obtain payment, including but not limited to, immediate suspension, without prior notice, of your account and services, including domain names or other FastCat services registered or renewed on your behalf. We may also limit your account to being able to pay with certain methods only.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding a payment made to FastCat, please contact us before filing a chargeback or reversal of payment. This prevents unwarranted cancellations and avoids potential liability for chargeback fees in addition to the original payment.
FastCat reserves its right to dispute any Chargeback, including by providing the relevant credit card company or financial institution with any information and documentation relevant to the case.

Alternative Payment Method Refunds

In very rare circumstances, such as with a few international payment methods, we are not able to issue refunds back directly due to lack of support from the payment method. In such situations, we will coordinate an alternative with you. Refunds for cryptocurrency payments are subject to a $3.00 fee (for network + processing fees), and require a minimum refund amount of $10.00. Refunds below $10.00 will be issued as service credit instead.
